20Disclosure & CX Samples

How to disclose well, what to include, and CX question sets that set traps.

What to disclose (circuit)

  • Aff/Neg case name and brief summary (1–2 sentences each).
  • Framework tag (V/C or ROB/ROJ) and key standards.
  • Contention tags and author-year cites for main cards.
  • Off-case positions you commonly read (shell names, K names, CP names).

Sample disclosure doc (structure)

Aff: Open Borders — V/C Justice → Protect Rights; C1 Autonomy (Carens '87); C2 Preventable Deaths (UNHCR '21). Spikes: rights outweigh utility.
Neg: Managed Migration PIC; Welfare DA (Borjas '17); Security K.

CX scripts (by purpose)

Burden trap: "If I win that rights weigh first even if wellbeing is slightly worse, do I win?"
Link wall: "What specific mechanism in our plan causes your DA's link?"
Perm setup: "Can your alternative coexist with a policy action if the method changes evaluation only?"
Framework reveal: "Under your ROB, what kind of offense decides the round?"
